This week the President of Teen Challenge of Puerto Rico (Rodney Hart, left), flew to Washington, D.C. to meet with the White House Director of Drug Prevention, Henry Lazano (right). Mr. Lazano, a former heroin addict and dealer, and now a triumphant Teen Challenge alumni, has served in the White House since he was first appointed by President Bill Clinton, and has since served in the administrations of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and now Donald Trump. President Trump has made tackling opioid addiction a key part of his administration’s policies and a ministry like Teen Challenge of Puerto Rico is uniquely poised to help implement programs on the ground in Puerto Rico. Mr. Lazano has visisted Teen Challenge of Puerto Rico on multiple occasions. We thank God for partnerships with godly men like Mr. Lazano!
